Has it been that long? Well, I guess Mr Stephen King was not my best choice of an inspiration. No offense, but he writes for a living. Me? writing is just one of my job's long list of demands. And blogging is definitely not one of them. Anyway, I'm back again, and I hope that my blog intervals will not be back to usual. After all, I tend to blog a lot when I start writing. I guess the long absence has emptied my thirst in my digital diary (as I normally refer to this blog)
Well, what should I write? Definitely on the fact that I have committed myself to the deep dive that human call 'marriage'. It's been almost 4 months that I have been having a soulmate, and I have only one thing to say: that I couldn't be more happier being a married man. Sure, your budget is tighter, and you ever so lively bachelor life is already a closed chapter in your book. But to have someone to share your life with, and being in love is way much more in weight than living a lifetime of lonesome. And to top it off, I do really have a 'sporting' wife, and I am able to have part of my bachelor activities with my close friend. With her, it's like I have the best of both worlds (quoting Hannah Montana on this one).
These 5 months have been taxing on me. I have left my house that I've lived for the past 4 1/2 years, I made some major shopping in the furniture department, and I am going to continue on my Masters this June (I'm crossing my fingers real bad on this). Plus, currently my mom is extending the house for an additional 3 rooms. After all, her children are on the way to expanding the family, and my youngest brother will be joining the cause real soon, as he'll be engaged next month. So, there is a high chance that my mom will be having another wedding reception for a straight third year in a row.
I guess I'll just stop here for now. And I'm putting some pictures of my joyous day for those who didn't make it on that day.
Moment of truth
With the ring on, signals my life being hers
With my family at my wife's reception
With my new family, this time at my reception
